The exhibition presents the heterogen shape of the towns, created by those powers: it is about a paradox yet all in all complementary grey chart of urban development, aloof from common clichées and archictertual designs.

he exhibition focuses on the phenomena which accompany the development of the shown cities - such as (Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Dehli, und Mumbai) as signs of «landmarks» or unwanted marginal visions, like «informal dwellers» of the initial planning and processes.

Photographs of Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Dehli, und Mumbai had been taken by Anne-Katrin Fenk, Anand Patel and Christoph Fischer, as well as the panoramic views of Hyderabad over the past 3 years were taken from Susanne Kohte and Peter Gotsch.
